A senior Iranian commander says the
Islamic Republic plans to boost the range of its anti-warship and
anti-radar missiles soon.
“In the near future, the range of
anti-warship and anti-radar missiles will be increased to 100
kilometers, up from 50 kilometers,” Commander of the Aerospace
Division of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier
General Amirali Hajizadeh told Iranian national TV on Monday.
Referring to Iran's numerous
achievements in its defense and military industries, the Iranian
commander said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has managed to
overcome the enemies’ sanctions through relying on domestic forces
and drawing on their capabilities and talents.”
